Maintenance Planning Engineer – Preventive Maintenance & Scheduling

Job Description:
The Maintenance Planning Engineer will lead the development of preventive maintenance (PM) strategies, task planning, and resource scheduling across critical infrastructure assets. You’ll coordinate with field teams and configure work order systems in EAM platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
  • Create detailed job plans, labor estimates, and task lists.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure resource alignment.
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs (compliance, backlog, MTTR/MTBF).
  • Configure and optimize EAM-based work order systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

  • 4–7 years of experience in asset maintenance or PM planning.
  • Familiarity with public sector or utility maintenance programs preferred.

Skills:

  • CMMS or EAM software (Hexagon, Maximo, SAP)
  • Job planning and task list development
  • Maintenance metrics and dashboards
  • Scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera)

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician)
  • EAM/CMMS Training Certification
