Quality Assurance Lead – Capital Projects Software QA

Job Description:
Lead QA planning and execution across deliverables, software systems, and infrastructure initiatives. You will ensure adherence to quality standards through CAPA, audit protocols, and defect management systems in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement quality assurance plans across deliverables and workflows.
• Conduct internal audits and lead external audit support efforts.
• Develop and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Manage software QA workflows including regression testing and defect tracking.
• Interface with engineering, product, and compliance teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 6–10 years of experience in QA roles (IT, construction, or capital projects).
• Government or transit-related QA experience is a plus.

Skills:

• Audit preparation and execution
• QA tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla)
• Defect lifecycle management
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Certifications (Preferred):

• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Six Sigma certifications are a plus
