AZH is looking for Senior Electrical Engineer to Work at a Government Agency.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A. Fifteen (15) years of experience preparing in-house electrical design projects, developing project schedules, inspecting sites, and producing bid-ready packages, including specifications and bid sheets.
B. Demonstrated experience with lighting photometric calculations, short circuit fault calculation, voltage drop calculations, arc-flash hazards, and over current protective devices.
C. Demonstrated experience with National Electrical Codes and Standards is required.
D. Valid driver’s license is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
Experience:
- Electrical Engineering: 15 years (Required)
- National Electrical Codes and Standards: 10 years (Required)
A. Perform Electrical Power Distribution System Design;
B. Modify existing electrical systems with demonstrated technical expertise on complex projects;
C. Review consultants design documents, contractor’s submittals and shop drawings;
D. Provide technical support during the design and construction phases;
E. Apply electrical codes and standards; and Certify that completed designs are constructable in accordance with sound electrical engineering principles.
A. Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
B. New York State Professional Engineering License
