Project Management
Project Management
Our clients rely upon our technical field expertise to help coordinate, plan, and monitor all stages of design and construction, from conception to close out. Through all phases of the construction lifecycle, our focus is delivering the final project on time and within budget. We do this through the effective integration of project teams and implementation of project management processes and protocols that hold all parties accountable for their respective roles.

Project Management
During Design & Bidding
The project team will finalize the construction plan, including design drawings, specifications, and construction schedules. The construction plan should be reviewed and approved by all stakeholders, including the owner, project manager, architect/engineer, and contractor.
Once the construction plan is approved, the project team can move forward with implementing the plan. This may include bidding out the work to contractors, selecting contractors, and executing contracts. During this phase, project managers should monitor progress closely, update schedules and budgets, and ensure that work is progressing according to plan.
Construction and Commissioning
During the construction phase, project managers oversee the day-to-day activities of the contractors, ensuring that work is completed on schedule and within budget. They may also manage change orders and resolve disputes between contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
As the project nears completion, project managers will oversee the commissioning process, which involves testing and verifying that all systems and components of the building are functioning correctly. This may include testing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
Project Close-Out
Once the project is complete and all systems are commissioned, project managers will oversee the final close-out process. This includes verifying that all work has been completed satisfactorily, obtaining final inspections and approvals, and closing out all contracts.
During this phase, project managers should ensure that all project documentation is complete and organized for future reference. They should also prepare final project reports and conduct a post-project review to evaluate the project’s overall success and identify areas for improvement.
