Senior Systems Administrator position is available to work at our client site

DURATION: 24 Months
LOCATION: Albany, NY – Onsite
Senior System Administrator consultant to provide assistance with installation, configuration, troubleshooting of 3rd party application and security vulnerability mitigation.
Qualifications

• Senior Systems Administrator- Maintains the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers. Ensures that the uptime, performance, resources and security of the computers he or she manages meet the needs of the users.
• Senior- 60 - 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others.  May have an advanced education.
• 60 Months experience of various hardware experience in Linux, AIX and Windows Server.
• 60 Months experience of Installation and configuration experience in various 3rd party applications.
• 60 Months experience of mitigating security vulnerabilities.
• 60 Months experience in Technical Documentation
• 60 Months experience with SSL certs, PKI intermediate and root certificate authorities

Day-to-Day tasks

• Software installation and configuration.
• Troubleshoot software installation issues.
• Perform problem root cause analysis.
• SSL certification creation via DigiCert and installation on various web or application servers.
• Assist in creation and update of technical documentation.
• Assist in process improvement.
• Day to day operational task for Axway Secure Transport File Transfer system. (create, update, troubleshoot and remove accounts as needed)
• Assist in vulnerability mitigation for various application installations.
